Effective date: 26 August 2026
Lefto is designed to help you understand what you can safely spend between paydays while keeping your financial information as private as possible.
Lefto can store information you enter into the app, such as your balance, payday details, planned payments, expenses, income, spending categories, settings, and preferences.
At this time, Lefto stores this app data locally on your device. Lefto does not require you to create an account and does not currently provide cloud sync or cloud backup.
Lefto does not sell your personal information. The current version of Lefto is not designed to collect your budgeting data on an external Lefto server.
If you choose to enable notifications, Lefto may schedule local notifications on your device for planned payments, daily or weekly check-ins, and spending guidance. Notification permission can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.
Lefto is distributed through Apple’s App Store and may rely on standard platform services needed to install and run the app. Apple may process information according to Apple’s own privacy policies.
Lefto is not specifically directed to children under 13.
Because Lefto currently stores budgeting data locally, deleting the app may remove locally stored Lefto data from your device. Lefto does not currently provide account-based recovery.
We may update this Privacy Policy as Lefto evolves, including if we later add accounts, cloud sync, analytics, AI features, or other online services. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
